Cranberry Margarita Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz silver tequila
- 1.5 oz cranberry juice cocktail
- Juice of 1 lime
- Splash of Cointreau
- Sugar
- Fresh cranberries
Directions:
First, rim the margarita glass with lime and then dip in the sugar. Combine the tequila, Cointreau, cranberry juice, and lime juice in a shaker with ice. Pour both mixture and ice into the glass. Dip the cranberries in water so that they are moist, and then roll them in sugar. Skewer a few cranberries on a cocktail skewer and place across the top of the glass. Serve with a slice of lime.
The tartness of the cranberries and lime mixed with the sugared rim make for the perfect blend of sweet and tart that one desires in a margarita. This holiday margarita is the perfect tradition to add to your festive repertoire.
